Saint John's Resort in Plymouth, Michigan, operates as a Humanitarian Hotel where 100 percent of net profits go to educational and humanitarian causes. The property, purchased by the Pulte Family Charitable Foundation from the Archdiocese of Detroit in 2021, is one of three such hotels the foundation owns.

The 310-square-foot Deluxe King Room ranges from about $149 to $543 per night depending on season and room type, as of fall 2026. Executive apartments with kitchens are available for longer stays. The resort sits on grounds that include Saints Mary and Joseph Chapel, dedicated in 1955, which the Archdiocese of Detroit operates for Catholic weddings.

The 18-hole championship course called The Cardinal anchors the property's golf offerings, alongside The Little Cardinal, a seven-hole par-3 course, and an 18-hole putting course. Event spaces range from the 5,200-square-foot Garden Pavilion to The Monarch, which accommodates up to 1,500 guests.

Doyles Irish Pub serves pub fare including fish and chips, shepherd's pie, and a Reuben sandwich stacked with corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut. FIVE Steakhouse offers The Cardinal, a 40-ounce dry-aged prime porterhouse, and the FIVE Lobster Mac and Cheese. The Wine Grotto, housed in a former crypt beneath the hotel, features flatbreads with Boursin cheese and Wagyu meatballs.

Staff receive 40 hours annually to volunteer at local charities. Recently, guests and employees assembled meal packs with jerky, soup, crackers, water, and cookies for St. Leo's Soup Kitchen. Plaques throughout the hotel display the World Peace Prayer, created by late homebuilder William Pulte with leaders from multiple faiths.
